Roma
A four letter destination that is oh so sweet. In five days we have managed to make this place feel like home, each day embarking on a new adventure. Learning, listening, and seeing the culture, noticing the differences and complying with the lifestyle.
First day in Roma, Bianca and I found this hidden gem called Tacitos. We enjoyed delicious wine and pizza. We became great friends with the employees and had a wonderful time. We were invited to come back the next day and learn how to make our own pizza! What an experience.
Our second day there we explored the town, going in and out of shops and seeing beautiful monuments and architecture. We ended our day learning how to make real Italian pizza and it was unbelievable. Being born and raised in New York I thought I knew what good pizza was, but after making and eating this pizza…. my whole outlook on life has change. It was delicious!

Wendy, Bianca and I toured the colosseum and learned a lot about the history of the gladiators! It was very interesting.
Ahhh the next part of our trip was the wine tour in Tuscany. I don’t know about you but to me wine is the universal language. Wine brings people together to share laughs and stories, creating memories you’ll never forget (depending on how much you drink.) We toured historic towns and had amazing food and drinks. The wine was delicious and the views were even better.
What an amazing week it was. Now off to Positano!
Saluti!
