I saw this quote And had to make it my title. It’s so perfect for the time of year. (For those of you who don’t know this quote was said by Peter Pan).
It is right before Thanksgiving and I cannot help but be happy and thankful for everything I have and all the people in my life. One of the happiest things I cannot stop thinking about is thanksgiving day! Will and I have plans to go to Petes bar in Atlantic Beach to celebrate everything we are thankful for. Every year they close down that whole road and so many people come out to enjoy the company of others. (Or enjoy the company of an ice cold beer, but I am not here to judge what people are thankful for) This is going to be such a great day. Right after Petes we will be coming back home to enjoy a traditional thanksgiving dinner and some football! (I know I have a lot of family that read this so just know Connecticut will always be my favorite place to be for Thanksgiving and you will all be missed. Since I can’t be there below is a photo of me saying “hi”)
Another happy thing I have not been able to stop thinking of is my parents visiting for Christmas. Although, I am alittle down I won’t be doing my traditional Christmas in New York with my extended family, I am lucky to have them come to me. My apartment has been decorated since the day Target put out there decorations (November 1st). My home looks like aisle 9 and it could not make me happier.
So I figured I’d make this blog post about some things that have been making me happy to spread some love and positive vibes out there! I also cannot forget to mention this sweatshirt! It has made me VERY happy because it’s so freaking cute AND my bestfriend and I got matching ones!
So for everyone reading this remember, “Think of the happiest things, it’s the same as having wings” or just go to Forever 21 and buy the sweatshirt to get wings for 20 bucks whichever you prefer.
