If you’re anything like me, you need your coffee bright and early. My mom even got me a magnet that says ” I drink coffee for your protection” and unfortunately that statement is very true. That magnet also could work for me if it said ” I eat 8 times a day for your protection” but let’s save that topic for another blog. I love to drink coffee right after I finish my breakfast, but sometimes I don’t have time to do both. SO I decided to put breakfast and coffee together into one delicious smoothie. It is perfect for on the go and for those quick-Only have time for dry shampoo- mornings.
Here is what you will need:
~1 cup of cold brew coffee( if u can cold brew your coffee you get an A+ but for the other more average people like me I brew hot coffee over ice or if I was preparing the night before I brew it hot and put it in the fridge)
~ 1 banana sliced up
~ 1 cup of Greek yogurt (I use nonfat vanilla)
~ 2 tablespoons of honey
~ dash of cinnamon
~handful of ice cubes
I sometimes will add a tablespoon of peanut butter to make this smoothie extra creamy mmmmm.
Put all this good stuff in a blender and boom breakfast and caffeine I call it breakfeine. 🙂
